For Rappfox readers who aren’t familiar with Sirpreme, tell us a bit about yourself.
Hey! I'm a Producer & DJ from Melbourne. I work as a Carpenter in Civil Construction over in WA currently and been here since the middle of last year. Music is my true passion hence why the hustle is still happening with creating new music and collaborating with others in the scene.
You made a name for yourself DJ’ing on the Melbourne circuit, tell us about your spinning days.
Those days were some of the best days of my life to be honest. I came up quick in the scene from just hard work and raw talent but it took a lot of hours to get there and a lot of sacrifices. I was blessed enough to play at spots around Australia, Atlanta and also Bali. Some of the best people I have ever met came from those days.
And what sparked the transition for DJ to producer?
I always wanted to produce. I was messing with music software when I was 18 but never took it serious. I just wanted to make music that made not only myself but the listeners hit a certain vibe and also make music that I could potentially play in my sets one day!
You spent some time in Atlanta, tell us about your experience there.
That was a crazy trip and truly shaped me into the producer I am. I played a couple shows, networked with some dope creatives and also surrounded myself in the urban culture fully over there. I was blessed enough to be in the studio with the legendary KY (2 Chainz & Lil Wayne's sound engineer) and that meeting catapulted my passion for music even further.
How has this affected your music?
It's just made me comfortable to make what I make and what I like. It taught me that you don’t have to be on a certain wave but instead create your own. It was truly a blessing.

You recently released a track First Verse with Hennessy, any more in the vault to be released soon?
Yeah there sure is! Got a track coming out this month with an Atlanta based artist called Dope Diana called Chant. This track is crazy and something different from my normal production. Both hers and Hennessy’s release are all apart of my upcoming Producer EP called SOULSTICE, which comes out later this year! It features artists from both Atlanta and Melbourne. Let me just say, this project is crazy haha!
You’re a Melbourne boy but I believe you’re currently out in Kalgoorlie, regional Western Australia, what are you doing out there?
I am a qualified Carpenter so I work over here in Civil Construction. It's been a nice change from the hustle and bustle of Melbourne and allowed me to really focus on my craft of music and production.
What is your plans for 2021 and beyond?
Just to keep creating and collaborating. I have plenty more music to come and it's so exciting to see the pipeline of work getting bigger and bigger! I can't reveal too much but I'll say this “STAY TUNED” because whats coming up will change a lot of things for both me and my production ☺
Thanks for your time. Peace!
