Knoe is keeping consistent with solid new releases in 2020!

Despite the craziness of 2020, one positive is the amount of local music being released. And Knoe is one such Perth artist that has been consistent with the releases in 2020. 2019 was a solid year of releases for Knoe too with the release of Reasons LP.

2020 releases have been on a more soulful vibe which is a different sound for Knoe, whose previous tracks have typically followed a principle of ambient Hip Hop inspired sounds allowing Knoe’s dense and complex lyrics a plain to work effortlessly with.

Kicking off 2020 with the release of Down, Knoe’s has followed this up with two more tracks - Manhattan Summer and Burgundy Love.
Manhattan Summer is a short (2min, 38sec) romantic ride with Knoe’s bars dripping with passion and pining and closes with a dreamy verse from heartfelt singer Paloma. The chopped and looped sample adds that authentic personification of soul.

Burgundy Love is the most recent release and opens with a quote from the late rapper Tupac Shakur, adding an instant depth and insight into the track. This track is a throwback to the earlier Knoe sound, with a hard hitting beat and his witty wordplay. Kuzich adds an element of warmth with his crooning on the hook.

The common thread all of these new tracks is love and is demonstrating a more mature and evolved artist Knoe.

Listen to Knoe’s latest tracks on Bandcamp and Spotify and follow the dude on Facebook and Instagram.
