The Australian National DMC DJ Championships are back for 2020 to find our new national champion and represent Australia at the World Finals. The Australian National DMC DJ Championships has been going strong for over 30 years and it’s highly regarded in the industry as the Olympics of the DJ World.
In light of the current national pandemic, the 2020 Australian DMC DJ Championships will be an online affair with four competition dates running on Facebook Live throughout September and October. Being online for the first time in the history of the competition means any DJ from any remote location in Australia can now compete, they simply need an internet connection. The Facebook live events will be aired on the Australian DMC DJ Championships Facebook page and will feature showcases from renown DJs, MCs, interviews, performers and prize giveaways. For this year's competitors and viewers, DMC Australia are offering over $10,000 worth of prizes + giveaways during the Facebook live events. The traditional competition format is tweaked allowing any equipment, paving the way to expand creativity in the competitors. Competitors will be required to submit a 2 minute elimination video set by 23rd September and the dexterous selected finalists will submit a 4 minute video set for the decider round by the 15th October. All videos are submitted to dmcworld.com and shared on the Facebook live streams. |

This year, DMC Australia has partnered with a slew of reputable DJ equipment brands including Technics, Pioneer DJ, Phase, Serato, Numark, Shure, Ortofon, KRK, Alto Pro, and UDG. Streetwear brand Dickies joins as their apparel sponsor, Undefine Media will be their Broadcast Sponsor and Scene Mag/scenestr the Media Partner.
