Perth’s premiere Hip Hop Show, Beats, Rhymes, Life, more commonly known as BRL, is taking it's weekly Hip Hop show to the Community Radio Network.
BRL has previously been partnered with Joondalup (Perth, WA) local station 89.7FM, but after a promising 5 years of broadcasting including high profile Australian Hip Hop guests and solid programming, the humble show has been the given the opportunity to broadcast all across Australia from June 6.
With the move to a national network, the BRL format will extend to an hour format and will be an All Australian affair. Previously, the show has featured new music from across the globe as well as celebrating classic Hip Hop albums, now BRL will focus solely on Australian Hip Hop, allowing more opportunities to Australia's local and national music scenes and its large community of musicians.

The Community Radio Network is utilised by hundreds of community stations across Australia and deep into regional Australia.
The show's creator and host Gav Crossley says, "We plan to bring heaps of fresh ideas, a whole bunch of never heard before on the show tracks, interviews with the hottest crews and acts in the genre and occasionally chat to the legends. BRL has diversified and multiplied and is now going to all across this massive continent of ours. We look forward to being Australia’s Hip Hop Show on the Community Radio Network.".
BRL launches on CRN during prime Hip Hop listening time on Saturday 6th June at 10pm AEST / 8pm AWST. The show will also be replayed on Mixcloud and all interviews in full-length are available on the recently launched BRL podcast. The podcast already features 10 episodes up with Gav chatting to an array of personalities within the Oz Hip Hop scene.
